Weld seams reach max. Tensile / shear strengths through integral joining, ie chemical linking of transparent and absorbent joining partner. In this way, the basic material strength is achieved, ie the joining partners behave like a component made from “one injection molding”.
This can only be achieved through locally limited, precise and homogeneous energy supply across the weld seam width (process-optimized power density distribution).
The result is pore, spatter and absolutely particle-free welding processes, a basic requirement, for example, for electronics / sensor / medical products.
