LASER CUTTING
With laser cutting processes, plastics that have been produced using a variety of processing methods can be cut, perforated or slit quickly, economically and with the highest quality. Typical material and component types are injection moulded housings, optics, gas or fluid systems, as well as flexible materials such as foils, nonwovens or fabrics. For example, sprues are separated, or filigree structures created in plastics.
The materials can be cut gently and contact-free by selecting the appropriate laser tool. Complex, fine contours are quickly programmed and produced using scanner systems. To save space, these systems can be integrated into production lines.
